As is always the case when working with children, nothing ever goes quite to plan… as you can see when Edie decided that she was not going to let go of mummy – no matter what! But this just added to the occasion and I was in my element. The brief from Donna & Gary was to keep everything as casual as possible and to photograph mostly in a reportage style. This worked particularly well in the intimate setting of Broadoaks luxury Country House hotel at Windermere.
