As Cumbria’s leading wedding photographer I have attended almost all of the churches and hotels in the area, and for those that are still searching for their perfect venue, we’ve provided some images for you to enjoy below. If you’d like a more of an in depth feel for a particular venue please have a look at the Venues section – it can be a great help when searching for a Cumbrian Wedding venue. It’s nice to see an actual wedding at your chosen hotel as this can often give you a better feel for the place than just a brochure.

Although I do love the atmosphere and buzz that there is at our typical large wedding, I do for different reasons look forward to an intimate wedding with the bride, groom and just a few of their very close family and friends. Kerry and David chose the fabulous Dalston Hall near Carlisle, Cumbria for their wedding and as you can see they were married outside under their beautiful gazebo. Although we were spoilt for choice for opportunities for pictures outside I do still always love to get the couple inside for some moody atmospheric shots, as you can see Kerry and David have the usual lovely mix of natural reportage shots and modern posed photography that we are now famous for.
