This was our first visit to the amazing Cartmel Priory and it certainly is a magnificent building. Hannah and Andrew really wanted their day to be as relaxed and fun as possible and it certainly was, as they and their guests shipped champagne at Hannah’s family home near Cartmel. As you can see, the couple had a wonderful marquee at the top of the garden and it was lovely to see them leading their guests up there for the wedding breakfast, with the lovely sound of the bag pipes ringing out in the early evening sun. We really enjoyed being with you on such a special day and would like to thank you again for allowing us to capture the day for you.

The attention to detail was second to none…

Hannah looked fantastic in her vintage style dress…

Andrew scrubbed up pretty well too…

After the ceremony the happy couple emerge in true military style…

We took advantage of the beautiful priory…

Hannah chose this beautiful part of the local coast line for these shots as she has fond memories of playing here as a child

Hannah had to fulfill a childhood pact, which was that she would wear wellies on her wedding day! They were no ordinary wellies however, thanks to her creative friend!

The guys looked great in their uniforms…

Hannah and her girls….

As the sun began to set, Hannah and Andrew led their guests to the marquee for their banquet …

Nicola and Simon’s wedding really was a day of two halves. In the morning we had pouring rain and wind, then miraculously in the afternoon, the clouds parted and the rest of the day was glorious sunshine! After the ceremony, during the dounpour, we took advantage of the beautiful St. Cuthbert’s church in Carlisle and whisked Nicola and Simon away for a photo shoot in the church gallery. The results were fantastic!
